He also received specialized training in advanced trauma surgery. Dr. Díaz Mariscal is a professor at the Autonomous University of Baja California and Universidad Xochicalco. He is the founder and former president of the Baja California Emergency Medicine Society, and has also served as president of the College of Surgeons of Tijuana. He regularly participates in national and international medical congresses.
